RandstadRail
Meerzicht has a RandstadRail (RR) light rail stop. A former NS sprinter station in Zoetermeer on the Zoetermeer City Line. It was opened on May 22, 1977. As of June 3, 2006, the station was temporarily closed to be converted into a light rail stop as part of the RandstadRail light rail project. The RR tram stop is located near the Meerzicht shopping center. If you wish, you can use the tram stops on Voorweg or Centrum-West. With the Randstadrail you have a fast connection with The Hague and with a change in Leidschendam also with Rotterdam Center.
Tram stop Meerzicht
The Meerzicht station is located next to the Meerzicht shopping center. There are two lines, line 3 and line 4. Both lines go to The Hague. With line 3 you can go to Arnold Spoellaan and with line 4 you can go to the Uithof. Both lines have a stop in the center of the Grote Markt. If you want to go to The Hague, the shortest RR route is from station Voorweg or Centrum West. You can of course also get on at Meerzicht station, but this route takes a little longer.
Bus station Centrum West is located next to the Stadshart where you can go in all directions with different bus lines.
